Part I: Vision, Mission, and Goals...

Though it feels as if my life is in a constant flux of "hey look over I'm the next hurdle for you to jump, lets see how many time you can be sidetracked from your goals!" I do find myself self looking back at some things which do help to guide me through those hiccups and keep me on my path (no matter how hard I procrastinate.)

VISION:

I am fully dedicated to learning from every step I take during my career journey over the next ten years.

I want to be in a position where I'm well employed within the marketing field and also do some freelance work on my own as well.

Mission:

To enact my vision I will build a reputation and well rounded portfolio of educational, professional, and personal achievements that reflect myself and my ability to contribute to a business in a strong and meaningful way which leaves a positive impact.

Goals:

 Short-term: Fall 2023

In the next few months I'll be happy to say I've completed all of my required learning from this program, but before I claim my Diploma I will be taking part in the co-op opportunities I am currently exploring. During this time while I continue to be a life long learner I will be developing my skills and portfolio along with them. Once I have begun my career path and completed all of my schooling I hope to find a great first job in my new field (IF I'm not hired right out of my co-op that is ;) )

Medium-term: 2028 (Five Years)

By 2028 I hope that I've been able to establish myself as a marketer and have found my footing in the industry. As of right now I don't know what kind of company I want to work in but by the end of this five year term I hope after getting to work in my new field of marketing I have a solid answer as to where I feel I fit best and make the most of all my skills.

Long-term: 2033 (Ten Years)

Ten years from now I will be well into my career and potentially looking to return to school to complete a degree (I can't stay still I like to go back to school at least every 5 years it seems...). By this time I see myself married and with a family in a house.

After that I'm sure I'll set my sights on the next be goal in my life what ever that might be.....
